We'll be slowly working to add the Ed Policy Weekly Updates to the blog. Notice the links to them in the sidebar! Now you'll be able to access them here or by email. Are we tech savvy, or what?!

I knew that Intro to Computer Science would come in handy someday!

Like the new look, but lose the double spacing in the first two chunks of content on the left side.

why kindling flames?

Socrates wrote, "Education is the kindling of a flame; not the filling of a vessel." This edublog is a place for us to come together as students, to learn more about the topics that interest us, and to engage in meaningful conversation about education policy. This site is not the end of our search for knowledge, but rather the beginning. A kindled flame.

who are we?

We are a group of education policy students at The George Washington University who are attempting to create dialogue, discuss policy issues, and build community. We come from diverse education experiences. We are teachers, policymakers, parents, activists, and researchers. While we may come from different backgrounds and have different perspectives, we are united under a common belief in the importance of education.
